JEFFREY B. SMITH was born in Torrington, Connecticut on August 28,
1956. He attended Stetson University (B.B.A. 1980) and Stetson University College
of Law (J.D. 1982). He was President of Phi Delta Phi, an Associate Law Review
Editor, a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, and a Charles Dana Scholar. He was admitted
to the Florida Bar in 1982, and is a member of the Business Law Section of the Florida
Bar. He is admitted to practice with the United States District Courts for both the
Southern District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida, and is a member of the
Broward County Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association. He concentrates his
practice in the area of Commercial Litigation.
